We made it to the end of the year! As I reflect on the past nine months, I see all the ups and downs we have experienced. We are ending on a high note because we did it together. Before we leave for the summer I want to share a motivational tip.

At Clarkston Community Schools, we are focused on the future. Over the past several months, we have reviewed all of our buildings' current state and updated our Facilities Master Plan. Between now and April 22, please take three minutes to complete this survey.
There has been so much talk about getting back to “normal,” the way things were before March 2020. While I understand the sentiment, I’m not looking back. I’m focusing on the future. While times were simpler then, we all evolved over these past two years, and I don’t want to lose what we have gained.
I am thankful to our taxpayers for trusting us to make the best decisions for our students and staff. As good financial stewards, our duty is to be fiscally responsible and pursue any avenue to save money; this transaction is proof of our efforts. I am genuinely proud of our financial team here in Clarkston and appreciate their hard work.
